Announcement Regarding Disneyland Lolita Day 2020.

It’s with a heavy heart that we are making the official announcement that we are rescheduling Disneyland Lolita Day 2020. Due to the COVID-19 conditions in California and Disneyland’s ongoing closure, we do not feel it is safe to hold our event this year. We care deeply about our attendees’ health and safety, and do not believe our event would be at the level of expectation we have, due to the current situation.
We do have good news to share though! In early March, we reached out to a talented artist who agreed to design our mascot for our next event. We are so proud to welcome the absolutely wonderful Ota-Q! Callie is the designer of Ota-Q apparel, and we love that they offer easily accessible clothing and accessories for Japanese fashion enthusiasts of all body types and budgets. We’ve already discussed a few different mascot concepts, and are excited to see what she comes up with for.......our next event, Disneyland Lolita Day, October 2021!!!
Updates will likely continue to be quiet around here, but we’re always online to answer any questions or concerns. Thank you all so much for your understanding, and we can’t wait to see everyone in 2021.

We're so extremely excited to announce our date for this year's event ❤ ❤ Please join us on October 20, 2019 for our Seventh Annual Disneyland Lolita Day!!
We're so pleased to present our artwork for this year, working with the lovely Aini!! She created this gorgeous Small World piece and we're so in love! We love her theme for this year and use of colors, showcasing a darling lolita in the mixture of so many cultures Small World has to offer.
We have so many more announcements to share with you! As always, we announce our date and artwork a few months ahead so you all can start planning early!

Here’s our Schedule of Events for this year!!
An emphasis we have for our event is “Go Have Fun!”. Whether you’re an Annual Passholder or have a One Day Ticket, there’s so much to do at Disneyland. We want to encourage our attendees to go have fun at the Parks, so are no longer providing a Hosts’ Schedule. Buttons will be available during our usual hours of 10am to 1:30pm at the outside seating area behind Edelweiss Snacks, as well as near Sleeping Beauty castle after our Castle Photo, and before and after Mickey and the Magical Map. Remember Your Hosts come to celebrate this fun event too, so we want to go have fun and watch all of you lovely dressed up people roam around the park as well!
New this year is the Group Show: Mickey and the Magical Map! We are now in our sixth year, and have most definitely grown, which means we’ve outgrown our Group Ride, the Mad Tea Party. We wanted to offer a different type of group meeting, something relaxing and enjoyable, and thought this show would be the perfect break for our attendees in the afternoon.

Important Information Update!

Hello all!! We have so many updates to share with you all! We know this post is going to be really long and lots to read, but please bear with us, as it has the bulk of information you will need for our event.
First and foremost: our DLD 2016 Schedule here!! Your hosts want to create the best event we can for you, and after much deliberation, we decided we’re going to keep the focus of our group events on the Sleeping Beauty Castle Group Photo and Mad Tea Party Group Ride. We’ve found that these two meets work the best for our day, and want to assure that our attendees are able to enjoy the Park for the entirety of the day without feeling like they’re missing out on group activities. We’ve created photos of both the attendee and hosts’ schedules for the day that we strongly encourage you to save on your phone, as service at the Resort isn’t always the best.
Next, we’ve moved! That is to say, we feel we’ve outgrown The Jolly Holiday. Being that it is on Main Street, it began to feel simply too busy. There was too much of a rush to get buttons and Snaps done, so we’ve moved to the outside covered dining area behind Edelweiss Snacks, which is behind The Matterhorn. (Please see photos here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/…) We find that this place is very calm, and has a great background for our Snaps, so we’re excited to make this our new home for the day. We’ll be here for most of the day, and we encourage everyone to come hang out with us for a while after the Mad Tea Party and chat with new friends.
From here, we move on to detailed information regarding our group meets, buttons, and snaps. Even if you’ve read through these for previous years, we ask that you reread them, as quite a few details have changed.

Generally, Disneyland does not have a problem with lolitas entering their parks (especially during Halloween Time), but there are guidelines that must be followed in order to create a great experience for all attendees. Our 2016 Date Announcement is here!!! We are so amazingly excited to announce this year's artist: Ha-Anh Dinh (juniper-green.tumblr.com)! She's a lolita from San Francisco who has a darling style perfect for our event <3 There's so much detail in this year's artwork, we're completely in love! We do hope you'll be able to join us at this year's event on October 16th~ We know this year will be even bigger than last year's!

OUR DATE ANNOUNCEMENT IS HERE!!! We're mostly going to let our artwork speak for itself, but also a few words about it!
This year we are honored to have Alex, designer of Automatic Honey, create our mascot! His theme was "The Sweets of Disneyland", and created a mascot as sweet as could be.
We are excited to announce that our event this year will be held on October 18th, and we do hope you will be able to join us for this fun event ♡

Street Snaps

Yesterday we were looking for locations for our Street Snaps! We found a shaded, quiet area, demonstrated both circled on the map and modeled by Hayley. It's in Fantasyland, right between Dumbo and Casey Jr., and will give us a cute background of the carousel
Your hosts will be hanging out there most of the day, beginning at 11 am until about 1:45 pm, then about 2:15 pm to 7 pm. Please come to this area to get your Street Snap, which will be posted here on our website and on our Facebook!

Event will be held in Disneyland only (no DCA) for those purchasing a one day ticket.

Our first DLD (held Oct. 13, 2013) had an awesome turnout, and next October feels so far away, so we're holding a "mini" Disneyland Lolita Day in May! We will have one or two group meets - schedule to come - but won't be doing any special button until our October 2014 event.
We'll be making an event page soon on our Facebook, and we hope you all will be able to make it, and don't forget to spread the news!
