A History of Disneyland Lolita Day

2013

Early 2013

The concept of holding a Lolita Day in Disneyland started to come together,
and we decided we were really going to make it happen!

July 2013

We created a Facebook page, and introduced who we were as an event.
Within the first week we had 100 likes on our page!

August 2013

Our first mascot and artwork was announced, working with LemonTree11.
Date was announced for our first DLD.

September 2013

We reached 300 likes on our Facebook page at the beginning of the month,
and went up to 500 by the end of the month!

October 13, 2013

Our First Disneyland Lolita Day was held!
We had about 70 guests in attendance.

2014

Jan 2014

We Announced we would be having a mini DLD, to be held on May the Fourth.
Our website was created! This would be a home for all information about our event.

May 4, 2014

Our first mini Disneyland Lolita Day was held!

July 2014

We were listed on Neatorama's 8 Fun Unofficial Disney Days: [click]

Date was announced for our 2nd annual DLD.
Our second mascot and artwork was announced, working with narwhals-in-the-sky.
We hit 1000 likes on our Facebook page!

Our second annual Disneyland Lolita Day was held!
We had about 100 guests in attendance.

We announced the return of our event, with Lulu Van Hoagland as this year's artist! She chose cats as this year’s theme, and we adore how she incorporated Disney cats and classic Angelic Pretty themes into the artwork.
